Mrs Candice Jones-Simmons
Course Director for Conveyancing and Registration of Title
Candice Jones-Simmons is a former adjunct lecturer and tutor at the Faculty of Law, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, where she lectured the law of real property for over 10 years. Her passion for this area of law was supported by her experience in the practice of conveyancing and her role as a former partner and head of the property and estates department at a highly regarded law firm in Trinidad and Tobago. Her interest in the practice of landlord and tenant stems from her years of advising both residential and commercial landlords and tenants. She has also advised various financial institutions, corporate clients, real estate agents, and other various parties in the conduct of real estate transactions. Candice is a member of the Corporate, Commercial, and Conveyancing Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Law Association.
