Welcome to the June Renie Law Library
The June Renie Law Library was established in 1973 when the Law School commenced operations with a mandate to support the teaching and research needs of the staff and the students of the Hugh Wooding Law School. It is housed on two floors of the Law School’s southern wing.
The Law Library is conscious of the legal information needs of the region and through a variety of services is able to provide resources to legal practitioners, Governments and other agencies throughout the Caribbean region.

The Collection
The June Renie Law Library has a comprehensive collection of the region’s primary and secondary legal materials as well as substantial holdings from other common law jurisdictions.
The collection contains resources that include regional legislation, reported and unreported decisions of the Courts of the region and the wider Commonwealth. Secondary sources such as textbooks and periodicals are selected to support the Law School’s teaching objectives.
The Law Library also provides access to online collections which includes eBooks and subscription databases.

Reference/Research Services
- Research consultation with the Law Librarian.
- Research assistance via Ask-A-Librarian and the dedicated Library email.
Loans
Overnight and internal loans are available to students and staff.
Instructional Services
Individual and group training sessions are provided by the Law Librarian and members of the Library staff.
Photocopying & Printing
Photocopying/Printing services are available at a cost to students and external users.
Computer
Computers are available for students’ use in the Law Library.
Lockers
Lockers are available for Library users.
