Mr Roger Ramgoolam
Course Director for Criminal Practice and Procedure & Trial Advocacy Year I
Mr Roger Ramgoolam is a graduate of The UWI, St Augustine holding a Bachelor of Laws degree. He received his Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School in 1997.
Mr Ramgoolam was employed at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for four years, was in private practice for six years and a Magistrate for three years.
He was appointed to the academic staff of the Law School in 2012.
In 2013, he obtained a Master of Laws degree in Public Law from the UWI.
Mr Ramgoolam has co-written the course text and has self-published a case book on Criminal Practice and Procedure. He enjoys sports, music, reading, exercising and movies.
